KORRES Lip Butter

Hi loves!

My first post in a very long time! I'm scared that I've lost my touch in blogging lol. I wanted to break the ice by doing a review on a product that actually helps me a lot during my pregnancy. I've been so dehydrated these past few months and I think it's due to the pregnancy, and my lips get so dry that it literally bust open every single time I sneeze or cough (I swear!). Applied my Burt's Bees and EOS balms but they didn't work. I've put on vaseline, but again, with the pregnancy, when I hate something, I will really hate it now, and I despise the feeling of Vaseline on my lips.

So one day, I came across a youtube guru talking about how much she loves the KORRES lip butters. And I immediately went on Luxola and got myself one in Guava. So without further ado, here is my review on the KORRES lip butter.

Available at: Luxola (ships to Brunei)

I think the packaging is super adorable! It's compact and light, and it has a clean simple design too. These lip butters are available in different scents but I chose Guava because I wanted a lip butter that would come out clear as I'll only be using it during night time to sleep. But what I have heard, the other scents would have tints to it so it depends on which ones you choose.

This really does the job! Chapped bleeding lips no more after ONE night (yes I am serious) of application. When I woke up the next day, my lips were moisturised, soft and supple so it was nice to be able to wear lip stains prettily. Since then, I have been using this religiously. I still use my EOS in the mornings before I do my whole face for work but at night, when the make up is off and I'm done with my night skincare regime, I apply this and my lips never looked/felt better!

It is pricy, but it is called a lip butter so somehow I feel that the consistency is a bit thicker than your ordinary lip balm but not sticky, which is a plus!

So if you have dry chapped lips and you don't mine splurging a little, try this! It is worth my 20 bucks!
