LA Girl Matte Flat Finish Pigment Gloss

Hi gals!

I know I know. I haven't been blogging just cause I have been busy with work and being pregnant and all that. I am about to give birth soon so I have decided to start blogging again since my maternity leave is around the corner!

So tonight, I want to share with you my thoughts on the LA Girl Matte Flat Finish Pigment Gloss (and in short, "matte glosses" we shall call them).

I own three out of the many colours. From left to right: Secret, Rebel and Dreamy.

Liquid lipsticks are definitely a trend now I think every brand I know is making them! They provide a matte flat finish and claim to last all day, which I can say.. Is true.

Top to Bottom: Dreamy, Rebel, Secret

Secret: A deep red with a fuschia undertone. This has a gorgeous pigmentation but the downside is that it applies a bit streaky on the lips.

Rebel: A dark plummy colour. Love this! This, however, does not apply streaky. This colour suits everybody, in my opinion.

Dreamy: A nude peach. This serves as an everyday colour for work or a casual day out! The only downside is that, it may look a bit dull on girls with medium dark to dark skintones.

You can find this cheap at www.allwholesalecosmetics.com but shipping charges can be a pain to Brunei!  This bad boys only cost about USD 4.95 (approximately BND 6.60) each and you get 5.0 grams of product! Not bad at all.

The only downside that I have, with them is the doe foot applicator. I HATE it! It's so long and somewhat "spoony", which I feel makes it difficult to apply nicely on the lips because of the excess product it scoops out. I wish it came with an applicator just like the Lime Crime Velvetines ones, those I like! Overall, I like the colours and I like the longevity of them. Highly recommend them to those of you who are looking for long wearing and pigmented liquid lipsticks! Let me know which ones you got!

**Update: Never tried swatching them on my hands until doing this post and these things won't budge! I have used wet tissue and make up wipes but it was still there so I had to use my trusty Shiseido eye and lip make up remover.
